It can be draining telling your story to multiple professionals. Dr Megan Stevens is able to offer multiple treatment options without the need to visit multiple different professionals. She takes the time to get to know you and understand your case in depth. Her goal is to help you understand your mental health condition, as well as to teach you how to listen to and respect your body in order to prevent relapses and enhance your confidence in living with a mental health condition. During your treatment sessions, she will monitor and deliver your treatment plan which can which can involve medication, nutritional psychiatry assessments, yoga and mindfulness-based stress reduction and pregnancy yoga. Prior to starting medication you may be advised to have a blood test (additional cost).

Dr Megan Stevens offers one to one support to help you manage anxiety, depression and stress associated with difficulty conceiving. She will clearly discuss the risks and benefits of being on medication if required, teach you Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Yoga techniques to clam and rebalance your nervous system, avoid rumination about the future and remain in an optimistic state of mind.
I have medical insurance, can I use this to see Dr Megan Stevens?
Sorry, no. Dr Megan Stevens only sees patients who are self funded.
Do I have to have a blood test?
No you do not. Dr Megan Stevens will make the necessary recommendations to you and explain the benefits of having a blood test but you are not obliged to have this done.
Do I have to have all of the treatments incorporated into my treatment sessions?
No. If you would prefer to concentrate on perhaps just nutritional psychiatry and medication management that is absolutely fine.
